The technical side of the image is very good, but there is no subject to look at, the trees and road and fence are what they are, but with no concept in the composition the eye is left looking around with nothing to latch onto..

This is a well executed, moody shot. As it is it makes me wonder what is just round the bend and I think that works quite well, like those shots that break the 'rules' and have people looking out of frame etc.
However, as Steve says, it would be in another league with an Amish carriage or something coming towards us just on the bend.
A little selective brightening of the dark trees on the rhs might also be worth while.
