Izal was posh by comparison with the newspaper Gary, it was harsh and scratchy toilet paper! No I don't quite remember the his and hers!

I was going to say it was taken in a Spanish Package Holiday Hotel but it was taken at a display of old Loos, Baths etc that a collector has put together

Not being THAT old but yes...I have a memory of these kind of spaces. Being young and not having so much money I once rent a very old big empty house with a room on second floor and this "Toilet" far inside the barn....guess who was afraid of the dark at the time? Good thing was I was modern in the choise of paper...lol
Very good image Billy.....

One hole I can understand. But why two? Did they do their business side by side in the old days?

They did..I know old schoolhouses had their "outhouses" with sometimes up to five seats..so the kids didn't need to wait too long. Even at larger "finer" houses they had several seats, even against each other so one could talk eye to eye (lol), but the room was a lot prettier made. Our business was normal things...lol
