I say, Leroy old boy! Here's that "meals on wheels" thing again. Does that mean it's dinner time? Leroy and Levi, two-year old males at the Monarto Open Range Zoo, Monarto, South Australia, eye off a bus load of ogling visitors to the zoo as they contemplate the chances of an easy meal. Camera: Sony DSC-P92 Processing: used PS7/auto levels to sharpen the picture and to compensate for having taken the shot through a rather grimy window.

I would prefer to see the whole lion although if you have to leave something out his butt is a good choice : ) I'm a little loopy so I would have had the window down myself. But then again I keep Cobras as pets.

The soft out of focus background and shadows on the one lion gives this picture a "dreamy" quality.

Nice shot Boom Boom. I think it would have been better with both the lions fully in the frame but the picture has a nice quality. I don't think the rest of the coach would have thanked Tropolaemus for the window opening idea!! Polly

Mat, Me mucho crazy too - not only would I have the window down but probably hang out of it too.... guess the passengers would really throw a wobbly over that ! Anyway, to the task in hand. Ol' eagle-eyes spotted the fence beyond the trees which sort of spoit it for me. The answer, and an improvement to the composition, it to put in a heavy crop from the top down to to the peeling bark in the center stumps. While you are 'at it' dial in a little touch of sharpen filter. Regards, Roger PS 'auto levels' does not always give you the correct tones - try playing with 'levels'.
