A bit of luck involved here, this is my inlaws now very large black lab just about to catch the ball, it took a few goes before i was happy with the result.

Thanks Ernie, i only had my 55-200mm lens with me and the room isn`t really big enough for it, plus when the dog jumps he can look me straight in the eye, if you see what i mean.
